Attention Mustang Family,
Thanks for your patience and support this week as our staff has made tremendous progress toward the initiation of “Distance Learning.”
Good news! Our teachers have completed inputting third quarter grades. For the current grade reporting period, you will not receive a paper report card in the mail. Grades will be available for your viewing pleasure on Friday, March 27, in the Aeries Student Information System. If you do not have access to Aeries and would like an email of your student(s) grades, please let us know in the office.
Your collective effort on completing the “Student Needs Assessment Survey” is appreciated. Today, thanks to the superlative effort of our office staff, we attempted to make contact with every Mustang via telephone that did not complete the “Student Needs Assessment Survey.” If someone you know has not made contact with the school regarding technology, please have them contact us immediately.
We will be distributing Chromebooks to parents and students curbside on Thursday and Friday, March 26 and 27, between the hours of 8am and 12pm. If you indicated you need a Chromebook for “distance learning,” please fill out the attached authorization form and have it ready for our staff curbside by the main office parking area. We will have bagged Chromebooks sanitized and ready for your use.
With the support of the ACUSD district office, we are working with local internet service providers to make internet access available for all of our students. Based on the data in our “Student Needs Assessment Survey,” we have already passed along significant information to our district office for those that need internet service provided to their place of student learning. We remain hopeful that all of our students will have access to the internet.
Food is being delivered by the ACUSD Food and Nutrition Services Department at Argonaut High School in the MPR, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm. With a student ID, parents, guardians, caregivers, and students have the opportunity to pick up nutrition curbside. Please don’t hesitate to pick up a bag if you are in need.
Our goal remains to provide every student the opportunity to earn credits toward graduation and beyond beginning Monday, March 30th 2020. We are making significant progress and will be able to go next week. We are in it and will get through this together.
Hang in there!
