We have experienced a very unusual school year from PSPS outages to the COVID 19 Pandemic. I just wanted to take a few moments to reflect and share my thoughts on “Life as a member of the Mustang Family”
I have been at Argonaut for 35 years, some things have changed over time. However, there is one thing that hasn’t changed much, the feeling of Family. Students here at Argonaut have always had a caring attitude, whether it be passing in the hall, in the aisle of the grocery store, or running into them at the county fair years later. They always greet you with a smile and respect. Many of our family have gone off to do great things and become doctors, lawyers, and award-winning authors. While others provide service to our country and communities.
Mustangs have always found a way to overcome difficult situations, to problem solve, not back down when challenged, to bounce back showing how resilient we really are.
To the senior’s good luck in your future endeavors. Your journey is taking another path, enjoy your journey, make the best of it. You will always be a mustang!
As for me, I too am embarking on another path with retirement from teaching. I have been asked what I’m going to do in retirement. My answer is that I would quote Carl Sandburg, an American poet, and writer, “I don’t know where I’m going but I’m on my way”!
Happy Trails Mustangs!
