- The Voices of the Youth will be outside in front of the gym today. Stop by and win a prize! We will have drug prevention games, and you can find out more about making a difference in the community to reduce and prevent alcohol and marijuana use amongst teens. For more information, please contact Wilma S. Fortich at (209) 660-1248. See you there!
- AVID students are fundraising for their overnight college field trip and Grad Night Trip. Please come out and support them while enjoying a yummy Chipotle meal. - There will be a junior class meeting on Thursday in Gough’s room at lunch.
- For all students in 9th through 12th grades who are interested in becoming an officer in the Military by attending a Military academy, a representative from our congressperson's office will be here on Thursday, October 2nd, in the MPR from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. Congressman McClintock encourages every interested student to seek a congressional nomination. Nominations are competitive. Students must fill out and return the “Class of 2026 Service Academy Nomination Application” to the Congressman’s District Office. Please attend this meeting if you are at all interested. See Ms. Putnam if you have any questions.

If you are interested in taking the digital Preliminary SAT test, please sign up with Laura in the Counseling Department by Monday, October 20th. The test fee is $25 and space is limited, so register ASAP!
- Are you interested in earning community service hours toward graduation while also making Amador County a safer and more beautiful place? Come join other volunteers for an Amador County Community Action Day at Pioneer Park on Saturday, October 18th, from 8:30-12:00. We will plant native plants and seedlings at the Pioneer Veterans Hall and learn about the importance of creating a Firewise Landscape at your own home. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a service project that helps reduce wildfire risk. Come play in the dirt with us and earn a certificate toward community service hours!!
