• All football players: There is a mandatory lunch meeting on Friday, 2/13, in Steven's room 05. We will be discussing offseason weightlifting and changes to uniform policy.
• Students - To help prevent theft, please remember to lock your cars when you get to school and sports practice. Also, do not leave your bags unattended.
• It’s time again!! Miss Ione applications are available in the office with Megan. If you are a girl between 16-18 years old and live in Ione, please consider running for Miss Ione. The pageant is held on Saturday, May 2nd. You could win a $1,000 scholarship!! If you have questions, come see Megan in the office.
• Do you want to be part of big decisions made around campus? Would you like to be more involved in the activities around school? How about making school a happier place for all students? The leadership class is looking for more students to join in next year on all the things that make Argonaut great! You do not have to be a class or ASB officer in order to join! If you are interested, scan the QR code on screen or on the flyers posted around campus and fill out the form to join. If you have any questions see Mrs. Wenske in room 9!
• Calling all creative minds! The SSAY Youth Coalition is sponsoring their 2nd Annual poster contest on the benefits of abstaining from or quitting marijuana and alcohol. Share your vision of a healthier, drug-free lifestyle and compete to win a total of $1,500 worth of cash prizes. 1st place wins $500, 2nd place $250, 3rd place $100, and three honorable mentions at $50 each. The deadline for the contest is Tuesday, Feb. 24th, so register by going to ssaycoalition.org, scanning the QR code on the flier posted around school, or contacting Wilma S. • STUNT Tryouts are on February 10th and 11th in the multipurpose room from 5:30-7:30 pm. There is a mandatory parent meeting on February 10th at 5:30 pm.
