Friday, February 27 (B Day)
- Today is our last day of National FFA Week!! The dress-up day is denim blue. Our lunch time activity is "ag olympics" in the quad. We hope to see Mrs. Floyd roping a steer against some of you in the quad today. The last social media challenge is to post a picture in or with an FFA jacket. Make sure to turn in your stamp cards to an ag teacher so you get all your points for the week!
- If any student has any Block A forms to turn in, they are due Friday for the March Board Meeting awards. Bring them to Megan in the office by lunch today.
- Catholic Club will be meeting today during lunch in Mr. Fenton's classroom #23.
- The kitchen is now serving fresh kale and lettuce from the District Garden in the salad bar and in our salads.
- Seniors - Senior quotes for the yearbook are due today. Please fill out the Google form on Google Classroom by Friday if you'd like your quote included in the yearbook.
- ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS: RYLA Leadership Camp 2026 Applications are now available in the Counseling Office! Be a part of a week-long leadership training with social activities during the summer weeks of June 14th or June 21st. RYLA will be an excellent addition to college applications and resumes. There are scholarship opportunities awarded to those participating! Applications and your Short Essay are due Thursday, March 5 by 3:00 pm to your Counselor, and interviews will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at 4:00 pm.
- It’s time again!! Miss Ione applications are available in the office with Megan. If you are a girl between 16-18 years old and live in Ione, please consider running for Miss Ione. The pageant is held on Saturday, May 2nd. You could win a $1,000 scholarship!! If you have questions, come see Megan in the office.
- The Amador Polar Bears swim season runs from April to July. The registration fee is $300 per student. Please visit the Amador Polar Bears website for more information.
- Amador Trail Stewardship is a local nonprofit organization that increases opportunities for people to enjoy nature in Amador County. We offer numerous community service opportunities for Juniors and Seniors, including trail and bike park maintenance, event assistance (Mother Lode Earth Day 5k and Poppy Pedal in April), and more.
