Tuesday, April 7 (B Day)
- Prom is on April 11th at Castle Oaks. Today is the last day to buy tickets.
- Mr. DeWalt still has a purse in his office that was recovered from the vehicle thefts that happened earlier this year. If you think it might belong to you, please see him.
- Argonaut FFA Chapter Officer applications are now available! If you’re interested in taking on a leadership role, representing our chapter, and making a positive impact on the program, this is a great opportunity. Chapter Officers help lead activities, support members, and serve as role models for our FFA program. If you’re ready to step up and grow as a leader, be sure to apply. Stop by and see an ag advisor to pick up your application. All applications are due by April 14th at 3:30 PM to an ag advisor—don’t miss out!
- Class Officer Applications Are Now Open! Have you ever wanted to make a real impact on your school, plan fun events, and represent your class? Now’s your chance! ANYONE can run for a class officer position! No prior experience needed, just motivation and school spirit. Being a class officer is a great way to build leadership skills, boost your resume, meet new people, and have a direct say in class events, fundraisers, and activities. Plus, you’ll get to help create some of the most memorable moments of the school year! Applications are available in Mrs. Wenske's room (9) and are due Friday, April 10th. Remember, you must submit an application to be on the election ballot. Elections will take place the following week for all classes. Stop by if you have any questions.
- CONGRATULATIONS ARGONAUT! Tuesday night's Rotary Club Speech Contest at Amador Theater was a success! Anika Jones, Bud Flint, and Colton Scobee all won the top 3 spots. Anika was #1 ($300), Bud was #2 ($200), and Colton was #3 ($100). There were 9 speakers total, and I was proud to be there watching them do an amazing job! PLUS Bud Flint is now going to Tracy to do the 3rd level of the Jackson Lions Club Speech contest. Aside from being an amazing cross-country runner, Bud can speak with the best of them! Great job, everyone!
