Thursday, August 13 - A Day
- Attention all runners and wannabe runners! Join Argonaut Cross Country! Attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, August 18th, at lunch in Coach Duggan's room #8. Coach Putnam will bring treats! Open practices begin this Thursday after school. Bring running shoes, water, and a friend! All runners need a current physical and to be cleared through Home Campus before participating. - Attention all Work Experience students (WEE)! There is a meeting on 8/19 at 8:00am in the gym lobby.Go to google classroom: n2wyz7ii
- Juniors and Seniors: If you would like to take the SATs during the school day on October 8th at 8:30 am at the District Office, please sign up with Laura in the office by September 11th. The cost is $60.
- Are you interested in playing water polo? Argonaut is hoping to start a boys and girls team this fall. If you are interested, please e-mail the Athletic Director @ jgilliam@acusd.org.
- Ms. Putnam’s career center has been moved to the library.
- There will be a College and Career Fair on September 24th. If you want to help with this fair and earn community service hours, see Ms Putnam in the library.
- Counselors will make schedule changes the first week of school ONLY if a student is missing a class, has an incomplete schedule/duplicate classes, or completed a dual enrollment class over summer.
All other schedule change requests will be considered the second week of school. Students can complete a form with Laura in the front office starting Monday, August 17th only for the following reasons ONLY:- Duplicate classes, incomplete schedule or class already completed, dual enrollment course completion.
- Inappropriately placed in a core class, non-elective course.
- Medical condition documented by a physician or IEP team decision.
- If you are enrolled in an AP/Honors course, you have until 1st quarter to request a schedule change into a CP course pending availability/approval.
- If you have ever received a locker and do NOT use it anymore, please let Danielle in the office know asap.
- The Amador County Girls Soccer Recreational League 2026 season is open for registration. It starts August 15th and runs to October 7th. For a sign-up information packet, email acgs7v7@gmail.com with your information. Print it and bring it to tryouts on August 15th at 8 am at the Amador High School lower field.
- Seniors: Senior parking spot applications are still being accepted until August 28th. You can pick one up from Danielle in the office.
