• Boys and girls who are interested in playing Water Polo at Amador, there will be an informational meeting at lunch today in Mr. Steven’s room, # 5.
• The Wellness Center is hosting a Spike Ball Tournament on the 25th. Stop by the Wellness Center asap to sign up. 
• Starting next week, girls' soccer conditioning will be happening on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:45 pm down at the track. Bring tennis shoes and water. 
• The PSAT sign-up sheet is now available with Laura in the counseling office. It will be held on Thursday, October 29th at 8 am in the library. The cost is $25, payable by cash or a check made out to Argonaut High School. The deadline to sign up is October 27th. 
• The FCCLA now has a coffee club box subscription for $25 per month or $200 for 9 months. Scan the QR code on the flyer around campus or email me at deaven.garcia@acusd.org. Fill out the order form today and turn in your money by the 18th so everyone can enjoy their boxes by the first week of October.
• School pictures have arrived. Make sure to pick yours up asap from Danielle in the office.  
• On September 18th from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm there is a Youth Self-Esteem and Self-Worth Workshop from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. At The Hive, located at 217 Rex Avenue in Jackson, room 17. This interactive workshop helps students recognize, understand, and manage emotions in healthy ways. Participants will learn coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and calming techniques to build confidence, improve relationships, and respond to challenges with resilience. Pizza will be provided. 
• There is a freshman class meeting on Monday, the 21st, in Mr. Stevens' room at lunch, where we will be voting on and discussing our float for the downtown rally.
• Hey Mustangs, join us for a glowing Golden Hour Homecoming on October 3rd!! Tickets will be on sale by the Mustang Gate during lunches starting September 21st through October 2nd. Tickets are $35,  $30 with an ASB card. Guest forms are available in the office with Danielle starting today, and are due by September 25th. If you have any questions, reach out to Danielle in the office. 
• Community Service Opportunity: Pioneer Elementary is looking for 2 high school students who are talented or interested in face painting to volunteer at our upcoming Harvest Festival! Oct 22nd from 5pm to 7pm. We will provide the face-painting supplies, so students would just need to bring their creativity and enthusiasm!
