Tuesday, October 20th - A Day

• There is a sophomore class meeting TODAY @lunch in Mr.Carson's classroom. We will be discussing downtown rally work days, so if you're interested, come join us. 
• Retake pictures have arrived. If you ordered pictures, come pick them up from Danielle in the office. 
• Clash of Classes Point Update! - The Seniors are currently in the lead with 133 points, followed by the Juniors with 126 points, the Freshmen with 107 points, and the Sophomores with 91 points! These points have been earned throughout Homecoming Week through participation in dress-up days and winning rally games. There are still plenty of opportunities to earn more points, including those awarded for this quarter's grades. Keep it up, everyone!
• Attention all girls interested in playing basketball this season! There will be an informational meeting today during lunch in room 12 to discuss the upcoming season, expectations, and plans for the year. Come meet Coach Chris, get information, and find out what it means to be a Lady Mustang! We look forward to seeing you there! 
• Plymouth Elementary is looking for high school student volunteers to help with our Día de los Muertos celebration on October 23rd from 5:30–7:30 PM. This would be a great opportunity for seniors who need community service hours. If students are interested, they can reach out to Erika at 209-257-9396.
• REMINDER: we have Senior picture makeup day on October 28th. This will be the only time they will come to do Senior pictures. You must make an appointment!! • The PSAT sign-up sheet is available from Laura in the counseling office. It will be held on Thursday, October 29th, at 8 am in the library. The cost is $25, payable by cash or a check made out to Argonaut High School. The deadline to sign up is October 27th. 
• Jackson Elementary School needs volunteers for their annual Fall festival on Friday, 10/30. Sign up with Camille at (209) 418–5264.
• Argonaut Cross Country Team is celebrating HALLOWEEN this month by having our second annual MONSTER DASH and Costume Contest on the morning of Saturday, October 31st! It will be a 5K walk/run starting from behind the Catholic cemetery on Cemetery Lane in Jackson. The run will start at 8:00 AM that Saturday, and the Costume Contest will be judged by Giles Turner with Pies made by our culinary team as the prize! Sign up now at this LINK.
