Tuesday, October 27 - B Day

• All players interested in playing boys basketball, please meet in room 12 today @ Lunch. 
• If you have a birthday in October, come to the quad today at lunch for free cupcakes from ASB.  
• Looking to join CSF? We are currently accepting applications for your Spring 2026 Semester grades. Drop by room 6 and see the new CSF advisor, Miss Reeder, for an application. 
• We have a little something sweet for our amazing SENIORS! Treats will be handed out in the quad on the 27th of each month. Same date, new treat, every month just for the class of 2027!  
• This Friday, there will be an extended lunch for our “Harvest Hangout”. There will be a costume contest and activities such as guessing how many candies are in the jar, apple bobbing, mummy wrapping, and a donut-eating contest.
• Senior picture makeup day is on October 28th. This will be the only time they will come to do Senior pictures. You must make an appointment!! Here is the LIVE link so you can schedule your senior portrait. If seniors need any help scheduling, please call our customer service team at 1-800-826-3535.
• The PSAT sign-up sheet is available from Laura in the counseling office. It will be held on Thursday, October 29th, at 8 am in the library. The cost is $25, payable by cash or a check made out to Argonaut High School. The deadline to sign up is October 27th. 
• AP students, remember to turn in your AP order forms and payment to Mrs. O'Geen or Laura in the counseling office. Order forms and payments are due by Nov. 6th.
• Seniors: FAFSA Night is Thursday, November 12th, from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm in the library. A representative from the California Student Aid Commission will present and assist with the FAFSA application process. Please come and bring a parent or guardian to help with the process. 
• Argonaut Cross Country Team is celebrating HALLOWEEN this month by having our second annual MONSTER DASH and Costume Contest on the morning of Saturday, October 31st! It will be a 5K walk/run starting from behind the Catholic cemetery on Cemetery Lane in Jackson. The run will start at 8:00 AM that Saturday, and the Costume Contest will be judged by Giles Turner with Pies made by our culinary team as the prize! Sign up now at this LINK. Put on your scariest costume! ...because all Frankensteins, Ghouls, Skeletons, Vampires, and Baby Strollers are welcome to attend.
