The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

California State Parks Week (June 10–14)

California State Parks Week is an exciting annual event that celebrates the amazing diversity of California’s State Park System and the people who visit and help protect these iconic places. California students in grades TK–12 can enter a poster contest with a chance to win a prize. Register for California State Parks Week events via the California State Parks Week web page.

School Board Updates

The next School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 13, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642. 

ACOE Open Session will begin at 5:30 pm.
ACUSD Open Session will begin at 7:00 pm.

Kindergarteners Visit the School Farm 🥕

Jackson Elementary kindergarteners spent a morning playing in the dirt at our school farm this week! Students rotated in groups through five stations, using all their senses to learn how their food is grown.
