• Esports: What do teamwork, Mustang Pride, AND gaming have in common? Our school! We will have an esports meeting for Fall/Winter! Come to our interest meeting for the esports teams today at Lunch in Mr. King’s Classroom, #21, to find out more and let us know your gaming interests. 
• Lockers: Locker forms are FINALLY ready! Please see Alena in the office to get a request form. Lockers are first come, first served, so come pick a form soon!
• Parking: Senior reserved parking applications are available now and will be open for two weeks. Please see Alena in the front office for an application.
• FFA Announcements:
  • Attention 2024 Amador County Livestock Show Team. There will be an AET Workshop held in Ms.Woolsey's Room after school on August 21st! Reminder that AET Projects need to be fully updated in order to receive your fair checks. We hope to see you there.
  • Argonaut FFA is hosting their Annual Back to School BBQ Event on August 29th held in the Argonaut Quad from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM! This is the First FFA Activity opportunity of the school year! This event is free entry! Please RSVP no later than August 26th using the QR Code on the flyer (There are some on the counter in the office) or see an ag advisor for more information.
• Club Fair: Our annual Club Fair will be August 30th at lunch.  At this event, there will be tables set up around the quad, and it's a way for students to discover the clubs we have on campus. We would like to open it up for any clubs or organizations on campus who would like a table. If possible, please set up something interactive at your table to help draw more kids in. Please email Jenna Critchfield at jenna.critchfield@acusd.org with the name of the club that you would like to participate by this Thursday.
• Community Service Opportunity! Mule Creek State Prison is hosting a Family Fun Day on September 7th at Howard Park in Ione and needs volunteers to work from 10 am to 4 pm. Contact: Samantha Adkins samantha.adkins@cdcr.cagov or (916) 205-2695
• College & Career: For all students, join the ARGONAUT COLLEGE & CAREER CLASSROOM and receive information on Jobs, future Careers, and learn more about Colleges and College Fairs as well as Training Programs.  These could help you get into working for the Fire Department, Police, and any number of fields that are open to students who attend college and those who don't. Get information about joining the Military, or applying for a Military Academy like West Point, Annapolis, and even the Coast Guard is put in this Classroom.  This classroom is for ALL STUDENTS at Argonaut.  You can even make an appointment with our Career Technician, Ms Putnam in the Career Center just outside the Library.  See her at Lunchtime to make the appointment. The Google Classroom Code for Argonaut College and Career Classroom is DRGED2U.
