• Cornhole Tournament: There will be a Cornhole Tournament during lunch all this week. Sign-ups are on the door of the ASB room (room 12).  
• Catholic Club will be meeting on August 27th, during lunch, in Mr. Fenton's classroom #23.
• The Latinx Club will have its first official meeting on Wednesday, August 28 at lunch in room 14.  Come on in to hang out, make new friends and celebrate every culture.   There will probably be snacks.
• Argonaut FFA is hosting their Annual Back to School BBQ Event on August 29th held in the Argonaut Quad from 6:00PM - 8:00PM! This is the First FFA Activity opportunity of the school year! This event is free entry! Please RSVP no later than August 26th using the QR Code on the flyer (There are some on the counter in the office) or see an Ag advisor for more information.
• CSF: Gough is now accepting CSF applications for the Spring semester. Please bring your completed applications and $5 dues to Room 7 by Friday, August 30. 
• Club Fair: Our annual Club Fair will be August 30th at lunch.  
• Mustang Floral Subscriptions are now available! Ag Students who sell 3 subscriptions will earn 1 FFA Activity for this semester. Payment and forms are Due September 13th to AHS Front Office! Find a floral student or talk to Ms.Woolsey for more information.
• Parking: Senior reserved parking applications are available now and will be open until Friday. Please see Alena in the front office for an application. 
• SENIORS:  Local Scholarships will be introduced at Thanksgiving, but there is an early local scholarship through the Jackson Elks Club (just down the road).  Their Most Valuable Student Application for 2025 is OPEN until November 12, 2024. Seniors who are United States citizens are eligible to apply. Judged based on leadership, service, academics, and financial need, the Top 20 applicants receive $30,000 scholarships. The 480 runners-up receive $4,000. Learn more and apply at enf.elks.org/MVS. See Ms. Putnam in the Career Center with any questions!
• College & Career: For all students, join the ARGONAUT COLLEGE & CAREER CLASSROOM and receive information on Jobs, future Careers, and learn more about Colleges and College Fairs as well as Training Programs.  This classroom is for ALL STUDENTS at Argonaut.  You can even make an appointment with our Career Technician, Ms. Putnam in the Career Center just outside the Library.  See her at Lunchtime to make the appointment.  The Google Classroom Code for Argonaut College and Career Classroom is DRGED2U.
