• There is a CSF meeting today at lunch in Gough’s room. We will be electing officers and creating plans for the year. Be there!
• Attention Juniors: The PSAT will be held at Argonaut High School on Thursday, October 24th at 8AM in the Library. If you are interested in taking the Preliminary SAT test, please sign up with Laura in the Counseling Department by Friday, October 11th. The test fee is $25 and space is limited so register ASAP!
• There will be a FCCLA meeting in culinary today at lunch to discuss the upcoming region meeting and our next fundraiser.
• Yearbook: Did you do anything fun this summer?  If so, yearbook would love to see your travel photos and add them to this year’s yearbook.  Also, do you have a pet you would like to feature? If so, we would love that picture too. Please email pictures to Mrs. Tallia at laura.tallia@acusd.org. 
• It's Student Voter Registration Week! Make your voices heard by registering to vote this November. 16-year-olds can pre-register for automatic enrollment at age 18 and 18-year-olds are eligible to register and vote now! Please take a few minutes and register at one of the tables set up in the Quad today at lunch. 
• Attention all Girls' Soccer Players: There will be conditioning this Thursday, the 19th from 3:45-4:45 down at the track. Bring your running shoes and water. Hope to see all you soccer players there!
• On Friday the Wellness Center will be hosting a DIY Sugar Scrub activity at lunch in the quad. 
• Jackson Elementary is looking for volunteers for the Fall Festival at Jackson Elementary on October 25th from 4:30pm to 7pm. They will have lots of games, pumpkin painting, a dunk tank, and trunks that need to be looked after by volunteers. They are also seeking any art students or students in general that would like to work at the face painting booth. If any students would like to participate for volunteer hours please get a hold of Camille Farren at (209) 418-5264 or email justapgroup@gmail.com.
• Congratulations to the Boys Freshman/Sophomore Cross Country Team for their win on Saturday at the Josh Ruff Memorial in Folsom.  Leading the field was Freddie Fawver with a time of 12:37.5 for the 3,400 meter race. The team came in first place with Bud Flint (12:54), Jake Sanders (13:45.5), Matteo Colaccia (14:24.20), Dylan Avila (14:43.50), and Dannye Tamayo (16:34.5).  Great job everyone!!  Just Run!
