• The Dark Labyrinth escape room has begun.  We have 6 teams, including one teacher team.  Yesterday, 11/18, My Chemical Bromance got the party started.  Audrey Kielb, Deaven Gracia, Brooke Dillian, Noah Hatfield, Aubrie Besag, and Layla Long did a fantastic job, and most importantly, they had fun.
  Teams will get a pass to get out of their 3rd or 4th-period class 10 minutes early so they can eat.  The schedule for the rest of the week goes as follows:

• There is an Art Club Meeting today in Room 9 during lunch. Bring a box for the hat and glove drive. 
• The library will be closed this week during lunch for the escape room activity.
• Congratulations to the Frosh/Soph Girls Cross Country team for their 2nd place finish at the Sac-Joaquin Section Championships this past Saturday in Folsom. Led by sophomores Megan Henness and Kaiya Raines and supported by courageous races from Amy Hauser, Kaylee Avila, and Ashlee Gomez, the team earned silver medals, falling short of gold by a single point. Congratulations also to Dylan Avila who earned the bronze, capturing third place in the sophomore boys section championship race. Finally, great job to the entire cross-country team for all of their hard work and success this season. Just Run!
• Drama’s upcoming musical, Alice by Heart, begins on Tuesday, December 10th at 6 pm at the Amador High School Drama Room. Tickets will start off at $5.00 for a single and $10 for a family of up to 4.  For a full list of showtimes and ticket prices, please see the flyer in the office.  Come out and see a great show and support our talented Argonaut and Amador drama students. 
• Seniors - Don't forget to email your baby pics to laura.tallia@acusd.org BEFORE you leave for Thanksgiving break.
• The annual Latinx Club canned food drive begins today.  Check with your teachers to see who is participating.  Non-perishable goods will be collected through December 16 and will help our local food banks refill their shelves after Thanksgiving.  
• Seniors!  FAFSA Night is Thursday, November 21st, from 6 pm to 7 pm in the library. A representative from the California Student Aid Commission will be presenting on financial aid opportunities and the FAFSA application process. Please join us. 
• If you would like to be a part of the ski/snowboard team, there is a sign-up QR code in the school office and posted around campus. Reminder: student-athletes need to register on Home Campus and complete the clearance process to participate in any school athletic activity.
