Wednesday, April 9 (A Day, Early Release)
- There will be a Latinex meeting at lunch in Floyd’s room today. We will be taking nominations for next year’s officers.
- Attention CSF: We’ll be working on stuffing Easter eggs for CSF today at lunch in Gough’s room.
- TODAY Ms. Putnam will be providing a College Prep 20-minute Course in the Library covering how to choose a MAJOR. Bring your lunch and a friend, and come by. If you need to apply to Community College or you want to know more about finding the classes you want, come by the library TODAY!!
- There will be an Interact Club meeting on Thursday in Floyd's room. Come to learn about our next service project.
- Attention, runners and wanna-be runners! There will be a cross-country meeting on Thursday at lunch in Coach Duggan's Room #8.
- All Block A hours are due by April 15th. If you are a Senior, this is your last chance to get your 135 hours in to receive a Service Block A. If you have questions, go talk to Megan in the office.
- Class officer elections are underway! ANYONE can run for a class officer position. Applications are available in Mrs.Wenske's room (12), and they are due Friday, April 17th. You MUST turn in an application to be on the election ballot. Elections will be held the following week.
- Attention Juniors or Seniors: If you are planning on touring a college, stop by and see Brooke in the office for a college tour verification form before your visit.
- Seniors - you will be applying for your last semester of CSF using your 3rd quarter grades. Please bring your completed applications and $5 dues to Gough's room by Friday, April 11.
- Seniors: Make sure to turn in your Photos for the Senior Slideshow: a Senior Pic, a Baby Pic, a Pic with your friends, and a pic with your family. These are due by this Friday!!! Send to Olivia Girton at olivia.girton@acusd.org
- Calling any students interested in singing the National Anthem at graduation! Please see Alena in the office by Wednesday, April 30th, to get your name on the interest list.
- Applications are now available for the 2025 Miss Amador Scholarship Competition. Scholarships awarded are $2,500 for Miss Amador, $1,250 for 1st Runner-up, $1,000 for 2nd Runner-up and $750 for 3rd Runner-up. Applications are available online at the Amador County Fair website. The deadline for submission is MAY 9, 2025.
- You can make a difference! Gain valuable experience for jobs and scholarship applications, earn community service hours, and learn leadership skills while having FUN! Come join the SSAY Youth Coalition and be the voice of community change to help us prevent and reduce alcohol and marijuana use for teens in Amador County. We are also sponsoring a poster contest on the benefits of abstaining from or quitting marijuana and alcohol. The contest runs from April 7-30th, and there are $1,500 worth of cash prizes!
