Wednesday, April 16th ● B Day ● Early Release

• Tomorrow morning the MPR will be closed for our annual Top 10 event. School breakfast will be served at the outside window.
• The Wellness Center will be hosting Mental Health Poster/Portrait making on Thursday, April 17th during lunch in the quad. All students are welcome to join us.
• ASB is going to run a spikeball tournament at lunch.  Please sign up on the window of the ASB room.  We are only taking the 1st 16 teams.  
• Class officer elections are underway! ANYONE can run for a class officer position. Applications are available in Mrs.Wenske's room (12) and they are due this Friday, April 18th. You MUST turn in an application in order to be on the election ballot. Elections will be held the following week.
• There will be powder puff sign ups for players, coaches and cheerleaders starting Tuesday, April 22nd at lunch, it’s first come first serve so if you want to participate make sure you come and sign up. If you want to play in the game you must bring $10 dollars on Tuesday to secure your spot. Coaches and cheerleaders do not need to bring money. Go mustangs! 
• Seniors! If you have not turned in your photos for the Senior Slideshow, get them in ASAP! We have extended the deadline to Friday, April 25th. A current pic of you, a Baby pic, one with your friends and one with your family. Send your pictures to Olivia Girton at olivia.girton@acusd.org / Label Subject as “Senior Photos”.
• “You can make a difference! Gain valuable experience for jobs, scholarship applications, earn community service hours, and learn leadership skills  while having  FUN! Come join the SSAY Youth Coalition and be the voice of community change to help us prevent and reduce alcohol and marijuana use for teens in Amador County.  We are also sponsoring a poster contest on the benefits of abstaining from, or quitting marijuana and alcohol. The contest runs from April 7-30th and there are $1,500 worth of cash prizes! To find out more, come to our meeting today during lunch in Mrs. Davidson’s class/Room 9.  You can also contact Wilma at (209)660-1248. See you at today’s meeting!
