Wednesday, December 3 (B Day, Early Release)
- STUDENTS - Counselors will be considering class change requests for the second semester. Class change request forms will be available in the front office with Laura starting today and will remain available until December 17th. There is specific criteria to be approved for a class change. The form must be completed with teacher and parent signatures required. There will be NO changes made for teacher preference, schedule preference, or social reasons. Forms must be returned to Laura by December 16th; no exceptions will be made.
- Keep donating those canned goods and non-perishable items for our local food bank. We're hoping to "Raise a Ton" of food to help refill the shelves! Currently in the lead is Mr. Duggan with a total of 9 boxes, Mr. Harlow in close 2nd with 6 boxes, and Ms. Lambros with 5 boxes filled!
- Coast Guard visit: The Coast Guard will visit Argonaut on Thursday, December 4th, in the Library during LUNCH to give any information about joining and what it takes to be a member. See Ms Putnam with any questions.
- Catholic Club will be meeting this Friday, December 5th, during lunch, in Mr. Fenton's classroom #23
- If you are interested in participating in a spring sport, consider trying out for the swim team. Pre-season starts Jan 12th-Feb 6th. The season starts on February 9th and ends on April 24th. The first swim meet is at the end of February. If you don’t know how to swim, no worries. We can teach you. Look out for the flyer and add the class for updates.
- Get ready for an exciting evening as we invite you to the Winter Band Concert on Wednesday, December 10th, at 6:00 PM in the Amador High School gym. Come out and support your fellow students as they showcase some incredible music. Don't miss this chance to enjoy a night of fantastic performances! We hope to see everyone there!
- SENIORS - Yearbook is looking for senior baby pics. Please submit one each to Tallia or Megan Heath before you leave for Christmas break on December 19. Please let Tallia know if you have any questions or concerns.
- Local Scholarships for Seniors: Ms. Putnam will be speaking to seniors in their Government/Politics classes this week to explain the Local Scholarship Program and inform them that they can apply starting in December. The Kickoff Meeting will be held on December 10th in Duggan's classroom, Room 8, at LUNCH. Information will be handed out then so that seniors can start working on their Local Scholarship Application.
