• A HUGE thank you to all who participated in this year's annual canned food drive. Through the efforts of staff, students ,and our local community, we raised 1601 pounds of non-perishable food items to help the food bank refill their shelves for the upcoming holiday and Winter. The big winner for the teachers was Ms. Lambrose, who came in with 14 boxes collected, followed by Mr. Duggan and Ms. Woolsey with 12 each.  
• Catholic Club will be meeting today during the first half of lunch, in Mr. Fenton's classroom #23.
• Local Scholarships 2026 - Seniors who want to apply for Local Scholarships need to join the Argonaut Local Scholarships 2026 Google Classroom CODE: ryky2pgu. See Ms. Putnam in the Triglia Career Center (get directions from the Front office or your teacher) ,which is right across the Hallway from the Art classroom. You only have just over a month to fill out the Application for it!! Contact Ms. Putnam at jputnam@acusd.org with any questions.
• The Jackson Lions Club Student Speakers Contest is on February 12, 2026, at 6:30 pm. Do a 5-10 minute speech for cash prizes and scholarships!  The topic is Youth Mental Health: Overcoming Barriers to Wellbeing. Prize amounts increase with each round, with a total of $21,000 in scholarships for the Grand Prize winner. • The Wellness Center will be hosting DIY Card Making in the quad today at lunch! Come get creative, make a card for someone you care about, and take a moment to unwind before break. All students are welcome, see you there!
• The sophomore class is selling shirts in the first two weeks back from break with winter homecoming tickets. Buy one for 10 dollars.
