The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

District News & Announcements

No School on Monday

Monday (September 1) is Labor Day, and therefore, our schools and offices are closed. We hope everyone enjoys their long weekend!
A red stop sign with flashing lights is extended from a yellow school bus.

Safety Reminder from our Transportation Department

Don't forget to STOP when the school bus's red lights flash! 🛑
No matter what side of the road you're on, you are required to come to a complete stop and wait until the red lights stop flashing and the stop sign arm is withdrawn. Thank you for helping keep our students safe!

Amador Adult Education Programs Starting Soon! 📚

Amador Adult Education has several great programs planned for the 2025-2026 school year!
English as a Second Language (ESL) is starting on Tuesday, September 2, so sign up today.

School Board Updates

Next Meeting

The next School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 17, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642. Open Session begins at 6:30 p.m.
